The key aspects of the role are to work with other Functions and suppliers in order to ensure that sales and profit on the Merchandiser's particular Formats are maximised through an efficient Supply Chain.
To continuously ensure that the Merchandising department is evolving in line with the business requirements through the identification of best practise, long term stock and range planning and the effective management of specific product through the supply chain.
To effectively communicate with the Assistant Merchandisers to ensure stock is effectively managed from DC to Stores and through the Recall process.

You will have:

Minimum 3 years direct work experience within a similar role.
Strong communication skills
Strong forecasting and analytical skills
Ability to identify best practise
Commercial awareness
Self Development and experience in Developing others
Understanding of the supply chain
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

This will suit a strong outgoing personality with the ability to relate to all levels of staff. With a view to internal development and progression. Must be enthusiastic, ambitious and willing to implement learnings from previous experience, whilst still being prepared to adopt and learn new skills.
Continually strives to improve departmental and work with peers to develop a consistent approach to Merchandising and the supply chain.
Ideally educated to a degree level within an analytical discipline.
