Senior Software Engineer
Senior Software Engineer is required for a leading Aerospace organisation. The company is commutable from Portsmouth, Fareham, Gosport, Southampton.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Systems & Software Engineering Manager. The main objectives of the role are to implement structured software solutions to meet programme requirements across the software development life cycle. This will be achieved in accordance with customer requirements, legislation, human factors and business needs. You will also be responsible for the control of your own work and that of any allocated resource to meet agreed technical, quality, cost & schedule requirements.
Experience of tool and methodology support such as CASE tools, and experience with programming in C and/or ADA is essential. In addition experience of working within RTCA/DO-178B Level B life cycle environment will also be needed. Individuals with understanding of the operation of hardware components and working with safety critical design are desirable. This role requires you to have knowledge of avionics or the defence industry.
The Salary for the role is between £40,000 - £44,000.
