One of Portsmouth's most successful and well established manufacturing clients requires an Accounts Assistant on a permanent and full time basis. The Role is situated within the Finance Department this role reports into the Financial Controller and offers a considerable range of tasks including assisting in month end preparation transactional and audit work with the management accounts team maintaining the fixed asset register balance sheet reconciliations project reviews. This varied role would be very complimentary to anyone studying towards a recognised accounting qualification but is open to anyone with a minimum of 1 years finance office experience. The position requires good organisational and time management skills ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with attention to detail.Salary & Benefits are as follows -the role attracts a salary of up to £25000 and offers study support private health care pension and 25 days holiday.
