The ideal candidate will ideally be an experienced teacher as all of their courses are 1 year. They are flexible about start dates, it could be sooner than January. Length of contract is also flexible but no shorter than the end of May but could be as long as required. 
 
The school will pay appropriate salary to reflect teacher's length of service and would positively welcome anyone seeking a leadership/management role, again with suitable salary reflected for the additional responsibility.

Cowes High School is an innovative, 13 to 18 Upper School, which will become 11-18 in 2010.  They have a pathfinder commission under BSF, and in partnership with the LA, to create cutting edge education for 14-19, and then for the new KS3 curriculum.  These approaches are to be housed in brand new purpose-built accommodation.  
Their students need an inspirational teacher of Mathematics to ensure their success at KS3, GCSE and at A level.
