As an all round practical engineer with a broad set of skills, there is an opportunity for you to join a team of electronics engineers in a role which involves an ever changing variety of interesting challenges. The products incorporate sophisticated robotic and automation control applications, (motor controls, pneumatics), test systems applications, (thermal, vibration, data integrity), sensor systems, (vision, infra-red etc), firmware and user applications. Experience of these areas coupled with an appreciation of embedded systems, software, mechanical engineering or mechatronics would secure you this position

The role will be a mix of electronic design and software development, (typically in C/C++) and as such will suit an engineer who seeks a broad spectrum of work

You will have a degree or equivalent in electronics, board level analogue and digital design skills, a strong practical engineering aptitude, be capable of working on projects with rapid development life cycles, C/C++ programming skills and an understanding of high speed/RF electronic designs and the use of associated test equipment, meters, oscilloscopes, Spectrum analysers etc)

Travel, typically to the Far East, is a component of this role
