I am a student at a music tech course, and I am giving free recording opportunity to the bands based on Portsmouth. The reason for doing it free that, I just want to get more experience during my course.

All you need to do; book a session in a studio, bring your amps-instruments, than I’ll come round with my equipments and record your tracks. As I said, I am happy to record your tracks for free, but you would have to pay your studio session fee, so I would not get involved with it.

Casemates may be great for me, because, sometimes I need more microphone stands, so I may supply them from there. I don’t have slightest idea about the Old Black Smith, because I haven’t been there before.

I would suggest you to book two rooms side by side (don’t know blacksmith, but I think some rooms are possible at Casemates), two rooms could be better for sound quality and editing the track. If you think that booking two rooms is expensive, no problem, that is alright.

I am available any time on Thursday and Weekends, just let me know before booking the studio.

Important note: I record only bands which let me to use their tracks as reference for my future job applications. If you agree with it, that’s great, if you don’t, please do not contact with me.
