1987 Transporter Van, 1.6 TD,

If you are looking for a reliable, economical, fun, V-Dub camper this year ready for weekends / festivals / surfing etc but dont have a £5000 silly money budget, this is the van for you!

OUTSIDE; Good condition, no structural rust, just the usual around wheel arches however this has been repaired with fibreglass and should last for years, bottom half of van then re painted Orange (top half white). Sturdy roof rack/bars fitted, (towbar fitted (although the electrics may need checking))

INSIDE; Quality DIY conversion consisting of full width slide out double bed/sofa, cooker with grill and oven, stainless steel sink/drainer with water pump & tap, 3 way fridge, zig unit, aux battery, 2 solar panels and charge regulator to trickle charge aux battery, roof vent, onboard gas and water tank. 240 volt power invertor also included.

HISTORY; Dash shows 184,00. Previous owner had full exchange genuine VW engine fitted in 1999 at around100,00miles. Ask any WV mechanic, they will tell you that VWT25 diesel engines were typically faulty on new vans and always blew-up around 80-100k HOWEVER once re-con or replaced would be good indefinitley.

I have own paper record of regular (every 5/6000m) oil/filters change and cam belt for 5 years.
