As former Operations Director of a National Charity, I am shortly setting up a Social Enterprise which will operate on a national scale to raise much needed funds for a person or persons in need of monies for causes such as; medical treatment, clothing, shelter and so on. We may consider, for example, funding a person who needs to travel abroad to a specialist clinic for life saving treatment. At this stage, we are inviting initial, brief enquiries from those who are in need. The chosen person or group will be decided by our carefully selected panel.

Having worked extensively within the charity sector for many years, I am exasperated at the numbers of businesses 'out there' which seek monies from charities to fundraise on their behalf! If groups had cash to spare, they would not be seeking assistance, surely?!

If selected, you will remain our nominated cause for either six months or until your financial target is reached, (whichever is soonest).

You pay us nothing at ANY stage and will receive fifty percent of all monies collected for your cause. We need of course to be able to cover our own overheads, including staffing and administration.

At all times, our business will remain transparent both to the general public and yourselves and I openly invite and welcome any comments you may have.

What we will NOT consider funding;

Schools.

Individuals applying without substantial supporting evidence of their need.
(All applications will be subject to supporting evidence from professional bodies).

National charities that have (or are entitled to) statutory funding.

Animal or Environmental causes.

Running costs or core funding.

Funding for overseas operations (except for critical, humanitarian concerns).

Sporting events (unless for the direct benefit of ill or otherwise disadvantaged children).
