Job Purpose Summary: Group monthly group management account production, payroll, responsible for team management, annual budgets, internal control and producing financial models and reports.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (Duties)

Monthly production of consolidated group management accounts
Competent at balance sheet reconciliations – executed on a monthly basis
Production of board commentary and board slides
Analysis of information as required
Interpretation of results for all levels within the business
Ensuring weekly tasks are completed ie PL, SL and daily posting to accounting system
Ensuring daily bank reconciliations and treasury movements
Checking BAC’s runs
Monthly and weekly payroll
Submission of quarterly VAT returns and annual return
Forecasting, monthly and quarterly bank information
Production of annual budget (and revised budgets throughout year)
Reviewing systems of internal controls and ensuring policies and processes are in place
Dealing and managing finance team with regards workload, priorities and development
Project work including RFI’s
Preparation of year end accounts and dealing with external auditors
Timely submission annual information ie Stat accounts, tax returns, P11D’s, PSA etc.
Overseeing bank information and bank audits


Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
Strong technical skills
Advanced computer skills including financial modelling
Flexible, adaptable, positive and can do attitude –able to prioritise and delegate
Good presentational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Experience of managing a team and a good communicator
Ability to understand company’s systems
Good initiative and problem solving skills
Attention to detail
