Hi there, I'm starting a soul band, but a unique one playing allot of new music but still some classic tunes too
I need 2 or 3 female vocalists, a bass player, a drummer, and piano/keyboard player and also a brass section.

I am looking to get the band up and running with about 2-3 hours of material in about 3 to 4 months.

I'm a 24 year old musician, i sing play guitar and some keyboards and have been playing in successful cover bands for the past four years and i have a love for soul music.

I will market us, i have recording equipment to make a demo, and i have a great PA system (Mackie, Hk, roland) , i just need musicians. I will be getting gigs paying at least £100 per member, i have good relationships with lots of agents and venues who will quite happily get us lots of work.
I also have a venue who will let us practice for free once a week but in return may have to do the occasional gig for him for £20 a member (enough to cover expenses)

I Need Musicians preferably between 16 and 40 as i want to keep the band quite young and fresh,

Live Band Experience not necessary, but you must be confident at what you do, have a good musical ability at your instrument, and most importantly play tastefully and have fun.

Music ~ we will be playing some classic soul songs, but will also some more modern soul music too ( Amy Whinehouse, duffy, mark ronson).
Also take some modern songs and turn them into soul songs like mark ronson has done with some music. ( This will make us allot different to allot of soul bands on the market and will hopefully get us allot more work)

I am very open to suggestion and a pretty easy going guy so band will be fun, but at the same time profitable to each member.
