Our client is looking to recruit a Chief Media Networks Engineer with an electronics engineering background and has extensive experience and knowledge of Network infrastructure power system design, build, maintenance and operations of media networks. In the Networks team our client looks after the high-tech national network that gets all broadband and digital TV services into people's homes and businesses. We also look at planning new developments, so we can continue to give customers fantastic new products and services as soon as they hit the market. And, of course, they have to be really careful that they do that without affecting the rest of the network. This position is paying a salary range £70 - 80K. The role would also attract a car allowance of £8,500 and an on-target bonus of 25%. There would be private health cover, critical illness and life assurance cover as well as other benefits of belonging to the client.

Reporting to the Director – Network Infrastructure & Support, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of best in class power delivery performance to technical and engineering team management and supporting the delivery of the Network Infrastructure & Support strategy.

Role & Responsibilities:
Manage & develop engineering resource & partnerships in support of the business unit operations & future strategy.
Enforce engineering standards appropriately, ensuring product safety and QoS standards are upheld at all times.
Support commercial negotiations by providing innovative & cost effective solutions to customer/commercial problems and ensure projects deliver compliant performance.
Advise project teams & ensure appropriate skills are developed to meet the needs of the client.
Ensure procedures appropriately support the need to meet statutory requirements for all equipment delivered, e.g. Safety, EMC.
