Robert Half International are representing a fast moving goods organisation based near Chichester.

The Role

Responsible for periodic management accounts for UK company and Spanish company with reconciliation of Sales and Purchase Ledgers for each period end.Weekly Reports and KPI's on: Sales COS analysis and Direct Costs to enable weekly PnL to Gross Profit and Customer Profitability Analysis.Maintaining and accurate posting of the nominal sales and purchase ledger.Debtors and Creditors Reporting for weekly report and fortnightly meeting.Responsible for the day to day management of the Accounts Administrators whose roles cover purchase ledger sales ledger and credit control.To work closely with the Spanish Finance Team who are responsible for the purchase ledger and banking activities and to undertake site visits as required.Balance Sheet reconciliations to be completed every Quarter. However Bank reconciliation for every period end.Responsible for fixed asset register.Product Costings broken into components parts to ensure each product quoted achieves the expected profit margins. Analysis of product cost actuals to quoted.To implement the complete manufacturing and planning modules in the future as part of the optimisation project of the ERP system. Maintain and set up standard costings and part codes as required on the system Stock control wastage reporting and maintenance also part of the Audit Team for weekly stock checks. Key is to ensure stock is Live at all times.Quarterly VAT and monthly Intrastat as well as other Government Statistics as required.Variance Analysis reporting and suggestions for actions to improve efficiencies in the business Year End - preparation of nominal sales and purchase ledgers and other requirements for Statutory Accounts for the Auditors visit and additional information as required.Assistance on budget preparation and updated forecasts as required.Assisting the Financial Controller in performance of their responsibilities

Salary & Benefits

£30000 - £32000 thou will go higher for the right candidate plus other competitive benefits.
