Support Engineer
My client is a specialist in the design and development of telecommunications infrastructure and are now recruiting for a Support Engineer.
As Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing Project Support; development of telecommunications solutions, building and testing of equipment and Customer Support; writing upgrade procedures, installation, commissioning, test and product training on customers sites worldwide.
You will be an experienced Support or Service Engineer and worked within a telecommunications environment installing, testing and repairing communications equipment. In addition you must be qualified to HNC / HND or equivalent in electronics or related discipline.
You must be willing to travel approx 80 days per year, be on-call 24/7 one week in 6 and able to pass security clearance at SC level.
This position is based in the South and commutable from Hampshire; Romsey, Eastleigh, Southampton, Fareham, Gosport, Portsmouth, Havant, Chichester, Petersfield and Bordon.
