Component Commodity Specialist (Electronic Components) - Havant, Hampshire - circa £40K

An opportunity to join a world class organisation which designs and manufactures enabling technology that provides OEM and disk drive manufacturers with data storage products to support high-performance storage and data communication networks

This is a pressured and fast moving environment requiring the ability too make effective and timely decisions, whilst supporting the needs of the business.

As part of the Procurement Team you will be responsible for:
Participating in Strategy Development
Development and Maintenance of Supplier Relationships
Cost Effective Sourcing Solutions and Successful Contract Negotiations
Routine Vendor Ratings
Working Closely with the Engineering Team
Identifying and implementing Cost Reduction Programmes

Candidates will be:
Degree qualified, preferably with CIPS accreditation
Able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years experience in the role of Electronic Component Commodity Specialist
Capable of demonstrating an intimate knowledge of the electronics component market place and associated supply chain
Adept at influencing colleagues and suppliers alike, through strength of character, experience, knowledge and ability
Able and willing to travel to the USA, Europe and South East Asia

The company is offering an attractive salary circa £40,000 plus excellent benefits including bonus, pension, and healthcare
