Hi, at the moment there is me (owner, I'm a psychiatric nurse & do a bit of massage too), Tom (musician been here 2 1/2 years +, and Lisa (german, here doing her MA until september) living here. We are friendly and warm but also pretty much get on with our own things - this isn't the place if you want an instant social life.
The house is in a quiet area but near shops, round corner from uni bus and other buses and about 15 minute walk to train station. Generally pretty settled and calm house - good for studying. The room available is the small bedroom, it's got a little wardrobe and drawers in, a computer table, a futon bed, a chair, and that's about it, it looks out onto the garden. Oh nearly forgot - I'm veggie and the house has a 'no red meat' rule, chicken and fish are OK. And it is also strictly no smoking. You do also need to be housetrained, everyone is expected to clean up after themselves, eg in kitchen and bathroom, so if you're not happy to wash up and clean the loo then this isn't the house for you. The house is still fairly newly decorated - but the kitchen is stripped and waiting for me to have enough money to renovate. Garden - a bit wild. Style - well, generally people seem to see us as a bit hippyish and I guess that kindof fits. Looking forward to meeting the 4th occupant of the little blue room.
