We are currently recruiting a registered general nurse to join the care team at a 47 bedded private nursing home near Gosport.

The Home is one of 4 in a well established Healthcare Group. Situated close to the sea and local beauty spots in Alverstoke, the Home also benefits from large well maintained grounds.

The successful candidate will share the Homes philosophy of care which aims to provide a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which the care of the resident is of prime importance. Care is provided in the Home to a standard of excellence which embraces the fundamental principles of good practice. Residents are enabled and encouraged to retain their dignity, independence and individuality.

The hourly rate on offer ranges from £11.50 - £13.00 per hour depending on previous experience and qualifications. The average working week is 36-42 hours,however there is often opportunity for overtime if desired. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified nurses as well as nurses requiring a UK work permit (please ensure you are eligible for a work permit application on the new points based system, prior to applying for this position). Previous Nursing Home experience would be an advantage but is not essential as attitude is more important. A full, valid NMC registration is essential.
