Senior Account Manager Partnership manager
Vane recruitment LTD are currently working in partnership with a leading insurance business based in Portsmouth
Our client are currently looking to recruit a key member of the business "A Partnership Manager" to manage the clients largest account
As Partnership manager the individual will be responsible for the account management of the leading client ensuring that a firm relationship is managed and developed and targets/SLAs are achieved building a partnership
Salary : £40,000-50,000 per annum
As the key account manager for this business you will be required to spend a majority of your working week based in the Portsmouth office and spend 1 day per week out of the business . You will meet with the client each week whilst managing their account via teleconference from the main office the remained of the working week. You must be prepared to travel to Leeds one day perm week
As partnership Manager/ Account manager you will be held responsible for , ensuring the client is happy with the service provided by your business at all times .You will be fully responsible for managing the clients expectations and ensuring the account is secure with your business
Your key achievements are
To extend the SLA agreement and ensure the client does not wish to seek other opportunities with a competitor
To developed business opportunities within the account IE promote other products and service and increase profit by doing so
Ensure the client remain profitable to your business and to enhance your company reputation with your client
Develop "business plans" with your clients working together in partnership to manage expectations and successfully reach set KPis and targets and discuss areas to improve
Project manage the implementation of new propositions and client expectations : manage and negotiate targets , budgets etc working with internal departments and key members of your business and presenting back to your client with strategies and objections
You will work with 6 other team members to ensure that you are providing the best possible service to your client .
This is a full time and permanent position to start December 2009
The ideal candidate will have
Worked within insurance or personal lines general insurance previously-Ideal but not essential
Worked within a sales and senior account management position previously - Ideally have managed a key account for a business and have a proven success within this
Have a flexible approach with a can do attitude
Have held ownership for managing business strategies and ensuring SLA agreements have been agreed and extended in a previous position
