Our Client, a large electronics manufacturer is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for it's busy headquarters, located in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Your responsibilities will include, software design, analysis and testing, in-depth C++ coding, conducting reviews of team tasks, supporting more junior software developers, technical ownership of all documentation and specifications related to products and keeping abreast of new and emerging technologies.

Applicants will be educated to at least degree level or equivalent, in an electronic engineering discipline or computer science, with technical experience of software components and features, strong experience in C++ design and development, user interface experience with both 2D and 3D graphic rendering using OpenGL, UML
Any experience in Linux, embedded systems and network protocols will be beneficial

Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK

May require occasional UK and overseas travel.
