Our client requires experienced support workers to work within their children’s short and long-stay therapeutic home, within Portsmouth.

Our client provides quality residential care for children and young people aged 8-17 years who need to live away from their families, both short, long term and emergency placements.

The client is offering locum positions with the possibility for leading onto permanent employment. The ideal candidates will be a highly experience children’s residential worker, with knowledge in care planning, care packages, education packages, activity programmes as well experience working with young people affected by domestic violence, drug and alcohol misuse, mental health issues, child protection concerns, emotional and behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviours.

You must be able to provide professional references to demonstrate your experience within this field.

If you are Team Teach trained this would be advantageous.

A good hourly rate and great benefits will be offered to the right candidates.
