My client is a specialist in the design and development of telecommunications infrastructure and they are now recruiting for a Technical Author.

The Technical Author will work within the Products and Solutions team and have responsibility for creating and authoring all customer facing technical documentation for Marketing use.

The Technical Author will collate technical requirements and plan the documentation. Create and maintain pre-sale and post-sale customer documentation for products and solutions, and produce technical content for Internet sites.

You must have Technical Authoring experience within a technical environment. Ideally you will have experience within IT or telecommunications although other industries will also be acceptable. You will have also used desk top publishing, graphs or or layout packages.

This position is based in the South and commutable from Hampshire; Romsey, Eastleigh, Southampton, Fareham, Gosport, Portsmouth, Havant, Chichester, Petersfield and Bordon.
