We are seeking an au pair to live in our family home in Southsea or a visiting Mother's Help. We are a family of 4 with 2 cats, 1 small dog and lots of fun. Due to an overseas posting for my husband I need some extra help as I work part time.

I will need you to support the family by undertaking some of the school runs, cooking, cleaning and looking after the children when I am at work. This will be for approximately 25 hours per week, some weeks may be slightly more and some weeks may be slightly less. I will also need you to be available to babysit for 2 evenings per week.

If you are an au pair, you will meet the international standard for au pairs and all applicants need to provide references and a CV.

We will provide you with a home environment in our beautiful 4 storey home in central Southsea. You will have your own bedroom with access to internet, TV and use of a car, in addition to free full board we will provide you with pocket money of £65 a week.


Our house is centrally located, with all facilities in walking distance, including cinema, bowling alley, swimming pool, gym, shops, restaurants, nightclubs, park, cathedral and trains. Your standard of English must be good enough that you can make yourself understood/be understood. The position starts beginning of September 2009 - mid July 2010 or longer if possible.
