Hi,

i am a 32 year old rhythm/lead guitarist and singer from Guildford who wants to join a covers/function band.

I have been playing guitar for 20 years and singing for about 10. I have played in various bands, including rock, soul and acoustic, playing at festivals around the country (Guilfest, Weyfest, Emmas Trust Fest, Holt Fest), i have also performed live on local radio several times in different areas of the country.

I have fronted a band for the past four years, released an album and played many gigs in the local area, as well as london, but i am now seeking a new challenge, as well as a chance to make some regular money.

I can play some lead guitar (30%) but am mainly a rhythm guitarist (70%). I am a strong singer (ABRSM grade 5) and can harmonise well.

i do not read music well, but i am quick to learn songs by listening to them.

I have my own equipment (Fender strat, Marshall amp, pedals, acoustic guitars x 2). i also have my own transport, and i am willing to travel to rehearsals and gigs.

I am seeking a band that i can join to make friends, perform regularly, make some money and learn some new tricks as well as songs. i am a hard working musician who is very passionate about his performing.
